The left outsole features a ‘bubble gum’ under the foot, inspired by the bubble gum Michael Jordan chewed during his games on the hardwood.

These Jordan 1 High Chenille ‘Varsity Red’ are something different! Not only the colorway, but also the materials they used for this design. The Jordan 1 High Chenille ‘Varsity Red’ features ‘Varsity Red’ leather on the overlays, combined with white leather. The swooshes are from red chenille material, while the tongues are from corduroy. We love the mixture of materials!
Jordan 1 High Brotherhood
Omega Psi Phi, founded in 1911, was the first rational organization founded at a historically black university. Michael Jordan joined during his years at the University of North Carolina. He was wearing the OPP tees with the same colorway as the Jordan 1 High Brotherhood. Did you know that Micheal Jordan even has an Omega horseshoe branded on his chest? It symbolizes his commitment to the black fraternity Omega Psi Phi. It’s no surprise they use these colorways for the release of the new Jordan 1 High Brotherhood.
